式可以表示動作的持續性(持續到現在,可能還要持續下去).

原譯文中的"曾經研究過",意味著"現在不再研究了",而這與原文中的"have studied"
的含義是不相符的.
[試譯]根據研究生命起源的科學家們的研究結果,我們一定會得出這樣的結論:如果有
一顆行星,只要那裡的條件與地球大致相似，那麼在那裡幾乎可以肯定有生命
誕生.

林語堂《漢譯開明英文文法》, p. 318.

He "has studied" at Oxford and Berlin, two of the best universities
in Europe.（這是他的資格，但如人家問“Where did he study?”這一句，
須回答“He studied, etc.”）

如果把這兩個資料對照來看,應該下什麼結論呢?

單以這點來說的話，我個人的看法是不能相提並論，因為表達的重點不一樣。
另外就是比較基本的字義問題。雖然都是"study"，但是意思仍有差異:
