(noun)-off means a contest ("cook-off" being one of the most common.)
Chest-off would mean to flex one's chest muscles (usually male
athletes) to see who has the most developed chest muscles. Sort of a 最硬
胸肉比賽. "buff" means to be really muscular. I think the term comes from
"buff: to smooth" My brother was in some body-building contests and
would shave off all his (viewable) body hair, then "buff" himself with
oil to bring out his physique as he posed on-stage. The winner of such
a contest would be the "buffest" or 肌肉最發展的.I'm sure there are better,
hipper translations for these street-terms, but at least you have a
starting point in case no one else can help.

刊出Hugh Jackman與另一位拉丁男星裸露上身的圖片, 請讀者選出誰是buffest.

有點知道chest-off表面的意思, 但不確定.
查了字典, 但找不到chest-off的用法, 所以想問一下.

至於buffest, 其實OneLook Dictionary有耶,
當初我竟沒去查OneLook Dictionary, 就直接問了.

True, but these words are what some might call, "colorful". I hope i
could handyhelp with your langprob.


By the way, I could use some cash to get some schooling. 500NT/hour
will get you one on one with me -- an advanced degree (Computer
Science MS) holder. 400NT for each of two students, and 300 NT for
each of three (my max, I've taught English classes with up to 50
students-it doesn't work. 因材施教). I live in Kaohsiung near the Art
Museum, but will travel for expenses only, since I would like more
