A. Having not finished his work, he can not go out shopping.

B. Not having finished his work, he can not go out shopping.

i know "B" is definitely correct, but i wonder why "A" is a bad use? Don't we
use "HAVE + not +P.P" to express things not being done some time?

I think A is OK, but B is better.

By the way, it's "cannot", not "can not".
