There have been several recent reports of wildlife running amok.
A __298__ beaver, foaming at the mouth, reared on its hind legs
and began running and __299__ at cars in Syracuse, N.Y. In Virginia,
motorists on Interstate 95 were attacked by fruit-throwing monkeys.

( ) 298. (A)rapid (B)rabid (C)stubid (D)eager
( ) 299. (A)photographing (B)snapping (C)snipping (D)snooping

298 is B
299 is B as well.

Why? 298... not C (even with the typo), not D since "A" doesn't fit
"eager". That leaves "rapid" or "rabid". Rabid = crazy, "rapid"=fast,
and beavers aren't fast, so it had to be "rabid". That it was foaming
at the mouth confirms it's "rabid".

Why 299? Obviously not A or D, since a rabid beaver can't use a camera
or play peek-a-boo. Snapping = biting at, and snipping is take off small
chunks. Since no cars were damaged, it's "snapping".
