"firm" means "company". It is no more respectful than saying "your company".

敬語和謙稱英文怎麼用呢?
在一般溝通上, 貴公司就是you, 敝公司就是we(us).
如果是初次客套或有特別必要場合, 貴公司可以說your esteemed company 或 your good firm等, 敝公司就是our company, 但一般情況不必如此.

敬語和謙稱英文怎麼用呢?
"your esteemed company" is relatively common, but I would not advise using
it more than once in any correspondence.

We would not use 謙稱 to refer to "our company" in English. Self-confidence
is highly valued in the English-speaking business world, and use of humbling
speech would be regarded negatively.

I would put it stronger: don't use it at all.

That's right.

But it's opposite to Chinese culture.

We use "謙稱" in the above case in Chinese.

Here comes the split of cultural preference. Yet I prefer to go for the
Western way. Chinese pleasantry or humbling words are just too much for
me. Yikes!

No surprise.

Cultures differ.

But if in Chinese working surroundings, the pleasantry is necessary,

though some others really don't like it.

所以在商用英文中,直接用Your company, Our company不算失禮囉?
用慣了中文的敬稱和謙稱,還真不習慣:p
文化差異,要試著習慣,語言本是文化 ^^
