[問題]請教有關於close用法

Come closely; I want to tell you something.
以上這句應改成:
Come close; I want to tell you something.

目前不懂的地方是為何不能用closely而要用close

因為closely和close都可以當作副詞，因此基於以
上的句子會有不知該選用那一個才對的問題。

Because "close" here is describing a POSITION. "To me" is implied. Thus
"Closely to me" makes no sense, but "close to me" does.
